Masha, who desperately
wants a child, chooses to live in Moscow even with its limitations.
Laws are different in Moscow, which provides opportunity to be a
lesbian mother.
Masha is determined to
reach her aspiration of motherhood whether it means risking the
loss of her relationships and finding new ones, or aggressively
seeking one sperm donor after another. At one point she even propositions
the director of the film to become a donor!
