Sarah Silverman's Jesus Is Magic is one of the funniest and most fearless comedic performance films ever released. Despite the current political climate, in Jesus Is Magic Silverman takes on such pitch-black topics as September 11th, racism, and the Holocaust, and spins them into decidedly un-politically correct comedic gold. The film comprises Silverman's performance before a live audience interwoven with stylish musical numbers and backstage intrigue. Bob Odenkirk, Brian Posehn and Silverman¹s comedian/actor sister, Laura Silverman, make appearances along with Silverman's band The Silver Men. Most recently Silverman appeared in Paul Provenza and Penn Jillette's hit ensemble documentary The Aristocrats, serving up her own scatological take on one of the oldest jokes in the business alongside some of the comedy world's top names. Silverman also appeared in the big-screen comedy hit School of Rock, opposite her friend and colleague Jack Black, in addition to the Farrelly Brothers comedy blockbuster There's Something About Mary.
