  19-27 Esther's Pantry Food Drive
The Portland Lesbian & Gay Film Festival is collecting food for Esther’s Pantry during the entire run of the festival. Please bring non-perishable food donations to Cinema 21 when you come to the festival.

Esther’s Pantry is a local food bank for people with HIV/AIDS that typically serves 200 clients each month. With your help we can provide vital nutrition to people in our community living with HIV/AIDS. The current food shortage has left the shelves at Esther’s Pantry very low so your non-perishable food donations are greatly appreciated. Esther’s Pantry was founded in 1985 and named in memory of Chester (Esther) Brinker, one of the first people in Portland to die of complications from AIDS and is a program of Our House.

Atole composes Left-field sonic jams inspired by life, everything around and within them. Atole are close friends, a sweet fact is that band members Tim are Manny are life-partners who also play in the diva cover band Do-n-Dudes. In the last year Atole played PDXPopNow!, MusicFestNW, Halleluwah, and Children of the Revolution- all awesome PDX fests.

Atole has played shows with critically acclaimed and queer electronic artists Matmos (queer partners), Yo Majesty (Atlanta lesbian electro!), and local darling the Blow. Atole are a part of a thriving electronic Portland pop scene that includes Copy, Starfucker, Guidance Counselor, Flaspar, Dat'r, and many more friends and fans.
