“Ehlen’s first feature is a ragged, high-spirited farce that gives
gender-twister Tootsie a 180-degree spin...just when [it] seems
to be going in a predictable direction, Ehlen throws in a clever
curve ball. Also funny is Olivia Nix as roommate Lola.”
— Kyle Buchanan, Advocate.com
Jamie Klein (writer/director Michelle Ehlen) is an out of work actor willing to try almost anything for a role. She continually faces rejection in auditon after audition. She even goes as far as dressing up as a “Femme” for auditions but it doesn’t help. To make matters worse, her roommate Lola’s (Olivia Nix) cat, Howard, is enjoying a succesful acting career.
